1. Crushing principle: using crusher, pulverizer and other equipment, the waste wire and cable will be strongly crushed and ground, so that the wire and cable of the outer skin of the plastic and the inner copper core into smaller particles, to create conditions for the subsequent separation process.
2. Separation principle: the main use of airflow sorting or electrostatic sorting. Airflow sorting is the use of copper particles and plastic particles in the role of airflow, due to the different specific gravity and produce different trajectories, so as to realize the separation; electrostatic sorting is based on the differences in the conductivity of copper and plastic, in the electrostatic field charged situation is different, and then were adsorbed to different electrodes, to achieve the purpose of separation.
Structural components:
1. Feeding system: usually consists of conveyor belts, screw feeder or vibrating feeder, etc., can be waste wire and cable uniformly and steadily transported to the crushing system, and according to the equipment's processing capacity and operating conditions, precise control of the speed and amount of feed.
2. Crushing system: mostly use a combination of crusher and pulverizer, such as coarse crusher first waste wire and cable for initial crushing, to get a larger block of material; and then through the fine crusher for further crushing, so that the material granularity is smaller and more uniform, common hammer crusher, roll crusher, blade pulverizer and other equipment.
3. Separation system:
(1) Airflow sorting device: it is composed of fan, sorting pipeline, cyclone separator and so on. The fan generates high-speed airflow, driving the crushed materials in the sorting pipe, copper particles and plastic particles under the action of airflow, according to the different specific gravity fell into different collection containers.
(2) Electrostatic sorting device: mainly includes electrostatic generator, electrode plate, material conveying device and so on. After the material is crushed and initially separated by airflow sorting, it enters the electrostatic sorting area, where copper particles and plastic particles are adsorbed onto the electrode plates of different polarities under the action of electrostatic field to realize further fine separation.
4. Dedusting system: generally consists of cyclone dust collector, bag dust collector, air purifier and other multi-stage dedusting equipment. The cyclone dust collector first removes the larger particles of dust, while the cloth bag dust collector further filters the fine dust, and finally the discharged gas is deeply purified by the air purifier to ensure that the discharged gas meets the environmental protection standards.
5. Control system: Adopting advanced PLC control system or industrial computer control system, it can monitor and adjust each operating parameter of the equipment in real time, such as feeding speed, crushing strength, airflow speed, electrostatic voltage, etc. It can also realize the function of automatic diagnosis of faults and alarms, which can guarantee the stable operation and production efficiency of the equipment.
